The standards and guidelines that are effective in the Model Community environment can be a stepping stone for similar endeavors.

As more and more members of our global society find themselves in positions of self-employment, the need to band together and share space, resources and time becomes imperative.

Artists, small business owners, and baby boomers need to share work space and even working/living space. Small businesses want to be successful and share their warehouse or street.  

There are pockets of shared-space environments or neighborhoods internationally that are results of heritage, job downsizing, a refugee experience, illness, divorce, or aging.

The proven results of Model Communities Association's experimentation, recorded observations, and outgrowth can guide and encourage anyone who invites others, in similar situations, to come together in creating an independent, balanced, creative, and harmonious community.
